Commercial Team
The production of EVE will be carried out by Film 1st Limited, a production company based in Liverpool.
The company is headed by Jim Fitzsimmons: Jim will manage and regulate spending during the project ensuring that all members of the commercial team operate in coordination so as to guarantee that the project is delivered on time and budget. Following a successful career as a senior detective in the UK police service Jim set up his own company specializing in global risk analysis and compliance. The company has associate offices in UK, France, Germany, Spain & Hong Kong.
Working alongside Jim as Co-Producer will be Neil Atkinson: Neil is also the Co–Writer of the screen play. Neil will build relationships within the industry, acquire talent in cast and crew and work with Jim to raise the required budget necessary to see the project through to completion. A testimony to Neil's talent to influence and persuade is the quality of cast already attached to the project.
Film 1st Limited is financially regulated by Thomas Associates a Liverpool based firm of Chartered Accountants regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. The sole proprietor Maureen Thomas B.Sc.(Econ), FCA trained and qualified in 1982 with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG). Following a move back to Liverpool in 1987 Maureen entered into a two-person partnership until 2001 when she set up Thomas Associates with her Manager Paul McKittrick. AAT, ATT. The firm has built a significant client portfolio in the North West of England acting for a wide range of businesses from professional practices to multi-million pound turnover property companies, providing everything from full statutory audit to the completion of personal tax returns.
Managing the EIS area of the project is Rob Graham of Graham Associates (International) Ltd. Graham Associates was established in 1987 and has offices in Wales, London and California. As International film production accountants, Rob acts for film production companies, technicians, film studios and international talent and has managed a unique combination of film making and investment through EIS. Graham Associates (International) Ltd has provided financial contractual advice to such companies as BBC, Walt Disney International, NBC/Universal and William Morris Agency.
Film 1st benefits from the advice and guidance from the wealth of legal experts who are part of the Rights TV team.
Rights TV is a specialist business affairs consultancy advising the film and TV industry, with offices in London (Marylebone), Leeds and Manchester. Andrew Baker, who founded Rights TV in 2004, was Head of Business Affairs at Granada Film and previously Head of Business Affairs at ITV Network and Granada Television, and Senior VP for Legal and Business Affairs at Granada Entertainment USA, based in Los Angeles.
Rights TV consultants include senior business affairs figures from BBC, Channel 4, ITV and other major film and TV production and distribution companies, and include Phil Rymer who is a highly experienced film lawyer with over 18 years in the film industry working on all types and size of independent, mini-major and studio productions with UK and international producers, financiers and distribution companies. Phil's last position was as General Manager and Director of Legal & Business Affairs for Mel Gibson's Icon Entertainment International.
Creative Team
The film will be directed by Daniel Fitzsimmons, who also co-wrote the screenplay. Daniel has been working in the British and US film and television industry as a screenwriter for the past 5 years and is a former MFA student of the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After producing and directing several well-received short films in the USA, EVE will be Daniel's first feature film back on home soil.
Daniel co-wrote the screenplay with producer Neil Atkinson who will act as bridge between the commercial and creative sides of the production. Neil has also been working as a screenwriter and along with Daniel has been establishing a wide set of key relationships within the industry to enable the growth of EVE with the best possible creative talent.
